Your library stays local

Selected CSV files, book titles, authors, shelves, ratings, reviews, private notes, dates and identifiers are parsed in your browser. They are not uploaded to a ShelfPatch content database.

Aggregate product measurement

We may count a short allowlist of actions: page view, sample opened, exports loaded, audit completed, search used, output downloaded and client error. Measurement uses a random per-tab session identifier and excludes filenames, CSV contents, titles, authors, shelves, ratings, reviews, notes, dates, identifiers and search queries.

Infrastructure logs

The hosting provider may process standard security and delivery logs, including IP-derived network information, under its own retention practices.

Safety

Keep the original exports. Review provenance before deleting data or importing a generated file into another service.
